ArabFC
.....................Fletcher .........Anya...Naismith...Maloney ...............Morrison...Brown Robertson...Greer...Martin...Hutton ......................Marshall 6 changes. We only need 1 holding midfielder, and Brown beats Fletcher on this display. Hutton and Robertson our obvious attacking full backs. New boy Ritchie didn't do enough to merit a competitive start. 1320Lichtie
I think after tonight we need to make sure Naismith plays in behind and gets in the box, in the 1st half tonight Fletcher was in it all by himself far to often. I'd go same team as you push Morrison up though don't let him sit beside Broony
bobthespider
Would not start fletcher . Pick a goal scorer as we should have plenty of chances in the box .
Geronimo
Fletcher shouldn't start after tonight's performance. Give Russell and chance.

That would also be my preferred line up for Sunday. Not bothered whether it's Greer or Berra that partners Martin

sergie's no1 fan
Would not start fletcher . Pick a goal scorer as we should have plenty of chances in the box . We hardly got the ball in the box for Fletcher tonight. I don't see why we should drop our best striker against a team who we'll be able to create a barrel load of chances against. jagfox
If Steven Fletcher can't score a couple against this mob he should drive his super car into the distance never to return...
1320Lichtie
Fletcher does well apart from scoring a fucking goal Put him in here he's surely got to, I can't fault the guys all round game in a Scotland shirt it's usually great but as a striker he needs to score!! itzdrk
Gibraltar must be better than Norn Iron so could be on for a 0-0 here
pub car king
Should go for it and try to rack up a big win. I would start with Rhodes it's the sort if game for a guy like him to put away chances. S fletcher is a non event at international football for whatever reason.
Gordopolis
Gordon Hutton Martin Berra Robertson Russell Brown Morrison Anya or Naismith Fletcher Rhodes Yes, that's 4-4-2, but fletcher just a little bit withdrawn
tartanAndy
I wouldn't start S Fletcher on Sunday. He's clearly off form! GORDON HUTTON ROBERTSON MARTIN GREER BROWN FLETCHER MALONEY NAISMITH RHODES ANYA. 4-4-2 I would expect an avalanche of goals either 4-0 Scotland! Agree about Fletcher , he,s not a bad player and he contributes to the team but just fails to score..Maybe best bringing him on 2nd half when we,re hopefully a couple of goals up and they tire..A confidence boost for him if he can get on the scoresheet..Also think Russell could do a job on Sunday. FuzzyAffro
I totally disagree, what a chance to get him a couple of international goals which he badly needs. Would definitely start him if it was up to me, next to Rhodes.
gastropod
There,s every chance he will start..I hope he can score a couple, but against a packed defence it might just be later in the game before we get comfortable . Maybe im fearing the minnows too much (remember Leichtenstein)
FuzzyAffro
We should play a very attacking team as they are shite and will pretty much never cross the halfway line. To me that means definitely a front two and lots of width. Lots of crosses into the box is how to get the best out of Fletcher, and a partner next to him. Rhodes is perfect for that, he is a poacher and has a tiny wee bit of pace I think those two up front with lots of width and we'll definitely score a few. Naismith in behind them too, maybe a 4-4-2 diamond no need for any more than one holding midfielder, and the fullbacks pushed right on to provide width and crosses. RandomGuy.
Interesting how people want Premiership goalscorer Fletcher dropped for perennial Championship goalscorer Rhodes. The myth grows stronger.... Anyway, go with the strongest line up, and try and get a goal as early as possible. The longer we go without scoring the more nervous everyone will get. Premiership 'goalscorer' Fletcher? And Fletcher has scored how many prem goals in the last 2 years?
