So in: 2001, 2005, 2007, 2012, 2013 and now 2015 the Docksiders have avoided Celtic at the semi-final stage. They avoided Rangers in 2000 as well.

Still can't win it.

That's quite a lot of semi-finals. What a great cup record we have. 8)

HIbs have had immense luck in their Cup draws.

However, three hitherto immovable objects still stand in their way:

  • Falkirk
  • Nade
  • Celtic

I do think Hibs will make the final though but that, like it always does, will end in tears. They will nearly win it though.

Who have Hearts got in the semis, m9?

Secured the play-offs yet?

If Hibs do win the cup, then hats off to them the semi and the final will be tough games. However, for us at least, promotion is the big one this year.

How many times did you win it, mate?

We drew Celtic for the third consecutive time at the first opportunity, so we were put out.

Shame we couldn't get a bye to the semi/final like Hibs.

So we're going to play Falkirk, Raith and Celtic. Not sure you've got the hang of this knockout competition stuff. You've nearly got it.

Not exactly the best draw for the Rovers. It would be crap getting to the final and losing if we somehow manage to beat ICT then United/Celtic.

That's how it goes sometimes - our run to the Final in 97 saw us beat 3 top flight clubs (including Celtic) whilst Kilmarnock's toughest tie was against a poor Dundee Utd side that they took to a replay!

And yes, I am still bitter :P

That was an excellent United side, finished third that season and went on a 17 match unbeaten run.

Though we were poor in the semi, admittedly.

I still think Neil Olivers's goal should have stood.

In retrospect I wish Falkirk had won that that Final after the Kilmarnock players used the final whistle as a signal to change their tops and advertise a Travel Agent.

Got to feel for Hibs, being cruelly set up for abject failure in the Scottish Cup again.

Their are a few safe bets in Scottish football.

Rangers and Celtic will always have bigot fans.

Hearts will never beat Falkirk in every game in a season.

Hibs will never win the Scottish cup.

AnBawBag & Paulo will always be incredibly angry about anything Hibs

It's hilarious how you think that Falkirk avoiding being gubbed by Hearts in every single match is some sort of badge of honour.

Despite the fact that Hearts already have a 100% record against you in umpteen separate seasons.
