Ya Bezzer!
Can someone tell me if goals and appearances from promotion/relegation play off matches are included in league totals? If not, how are they counted? Separately, like cup matches? I did do a Google search but didn't get anything.

HibeeJibee
Personally I would count them but separately. You shouldn't have someone winning the Championship total goalscorer award having played in 42 games not 36.

Skyline Drifter
Why not. Injuries, suspensions, substitutions all affect it the same way.For a start because they are for most clubs technically played in a different division. The playoffs to get promoted from the Championship are technically Premiership fixtures etc. So only the 11th place side, 9th in the other two, is actually playing in its usual division.
