Hibs Loyalty Scheme

Recommended Posts

Hearts have been doing this since 2005. It is by far and away the fairest way to distribute tickets.

Have to sell them for it to be an issue mind. 8)

It also stops all the gloryhunters getting tickets for a possible cup final jj.png

Good stuff, long overdue. Total shambles that the place is empty half the time but there's still a mad scamble when we get to a final.

Been an absolute part-timer recently but still bound to have more than the "omg just tryn to get tix for my wee hunniz bt cnt even get thru to the tikt offis actul disgrayc" Herculean whompercunts that you're competing with every few years.

We should have bigger crowds but we've had seven years of utter dross at the club, it's commendable that an 8k hardcore still exists. Going to take a lot to get the stay aways back, I'm one of them tbh.

I don't blame you bud. I know many others who feel the exactly like you mate.

Is that really utter dross for Hibs? If you went back further, that is probably about a typical 7 years for Hibs.

Easy excuse.

Hearts started it during the Burley era and then it died away a bit before coming back last 2 or so seasons.

It's only really useful if there is a continued demand for tickets rather than one off games. For me Hibs are unlikely to need a loyalty scheme as their own fans don't really give a f**k and if they do get to a final (unlikely) they will get 20k plus which is enough to let all ST holders have 2 or 3 each.

I'm not sure how useful loyalty points would be to Hibs supporters as I can't think of many occasions when a Hibby would struggle to get a ticket to see their team. However it may be clever marketing by Hibs if it encourages some fans to attend more games than they normally would.
