Raddison blue located in the market centre is nice also the Mexican down by the river does a nice burrito. The trams are frequent and clean and if you go to a neighbour hood bar it's about 1.50. Uncle Psychosis Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 The Becks Brewery Tour was brilliant when I went (about ten years ago now mind you). Was about 3 euros to get in, the tour guide was actually really interesting and at the end they basically gave us as much beer as we could drink---Becks sell a lot more different varieties in Germany than you can get over here. Becks Gold was really good as I recall. There were a coach load of us so maybe we got special treatment but I'd rate it higher than any other brewery tour I've been on. There was also a pretty cool Rhineland style bierhalle on Bottcherstasse itself, selling Kolsch in those wee test tube type glasses they drink out of in Cologne.
