R0b83
Hi My son is looking to join a football club in the near future and wondered if there's any clubs that people would recommend? I.e. clubs that are good for concentrating on player development and not winning. We're based in the west of Edinburgh, so at this time I'd prefer if it was relatively local. FortyMile
You didn't say how old your boy is. Have you considered Hutchison Vale? Good club with a great track record in developing youngsters. They've a good set up. http://www.hutchisonvale.com/
R0b83
Sorry, he'll be 6 in March. Hutchison Vale are 1 club I'd avoid at all costs. Terrible attitude in terms of coaching children when I was a lad and i hear that's still the case. Win 1st, win 2nd, development 3rd, enjoyment 4th
BTID
Only heard positive things about Hutchie and had the best football side at our age group at 13s not seen a better style since. Guys that run have always played the right way.
Hutch
ROb83 I would invite you along to our Hutchie tots school to see how your son gets on. I think you would be plesantly surprised and I am not sure where you got your information from. if you had been along to our school camps in the last 2 weeks you would have seen plenty kids having fun and enjoying themselves. holsten
Hutchie always been good set up when I have came up against them Clubs like hutchie, spartans, tynecastle in east and clubs like Rossvale, cumbernauld colts, harmony row in west are the lifeblood of b.c All these guys give up there time for free and it times its not easy chasing monthly dues ,dealing with pushy parents and trying to get sponsors
