Lichtie78
Must win here, 9 points from this East Stirling and montrose would be very good
lichtie23
Saturday was encouraging. We played some nice stuff but were poor in front of goal. Carriero should be fit and hopefully Nicoll and McBride can make the bench.
lichtiedaft1993
9 points would be good but we really need to beat albion at home as well as one of are closest rivals
SimonLichtie
I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who disagreed that it would be good to get 9 points out of 3 league games
Thom & Gerry
The way you lot are playing id settle for 3 out of 9 points. You under estimate the bottom teams at your peril.
SimonLichtie
If we were to get 5 or 6 points from these three games I'd consider that a good return, considering our recent form. We just need to get a win This league is a rather strange one - in January I think almost all of the teams outwith the top 3 have strengthened their squads which has resulted in the gap being closed right up, and as results have shown now we have 10 teams who're roughly of a similar level. Despite, unbelievably, some Arbroath fans not thinking Queens are even a good team I'd say they're the best in the division, certainly at the moment. Gus McPherson seems to be nailing it week in week out tactically, while ourselves and Albion seem to have got a few things rather wrong in the last 5/6 weeks. I'd say several months ago there were 'easy' games in the division for the top 3 sides, but now there are no easy games at all.
lichtie23
Elgin playing tonight so chances they could pick up a few knocks.
1320Lichtie
9 points? One game at a time eh If we win this knowing we could be back on top Tuesday with a win against Shire would be smashing though. Just need to stop the rot and get a break!!!!! RedLichtie86
Im going for a 3 nil win for Elgin. We have been rotten recently and they are the league 2 inform team.
lichtie23
I reckon we will sneak a wee 1 goal victory.

Has anybody beat us by 3 goals all season? Never mind at Gayfield. I think we will get back on track with a 1 goal win. So much potential going forward just need to get the ball in that net. Hopefully when that happens we can push on from there. Really looking forward to this game.
Anthony Fitzgerald
How are the Falkirk loanees getting on at Arbroath? They arrival has seemed to coincide with your recent slump of form, hope there's no link between the two. Elgin draw or win this game is 11/8, is that value considering both sides recent form? I don't think it's their fault, just arrived at a hard time for us. They're 2 young lads who have come into a back 4 along with another young lad to replace experienced defenders that we have out injured. Not seen to much of Grant he's but Rowan and McGeever have done ok.
lichtie23
If drop Grant and put Murray back in. Nicol and McBride should only be fit for the bench.
afc_36_0
Its no coincidence our slum in form has been since our whole back 4/5 have changed. Crawford's injury was the start, followed but el zubaidi's loan finishing, then injuries to nicoll mcbride and johnstone. All the loanees have done ok but there all very young and cant be expect to gel all at once. Have to say i have been disappointed to see little (who has been one of our most consistent performers) being dropped to fit the loan guys in. Not showing much loyalty imo. Looking forward to a back line of mccallum, little nicol mcbride and johnstone again. No real excuses for the goal draught up front tho. Murray has been very disappointing since signing for utd. Spot on with everything. Saturday and Tuesday are huge now that it looks like Nicoll/McBride returning is not far off

Have to agree about Little , any time I've seen him play he's been one of our better players so do not understand why he has been dropped in favour of the three young lads , our back four has lacked leadership and experience which he has , it makes me wonder if Moore HAS to play these loan players as part of the loan deal as Little was a regular in defence until he brought them in . lichtie23
Of course they have to play. A team wouldn't let them come to is unless they are guaranteed regular football
cfcuk
Same thing happened with Moore at morton they stormed the league at start then fell away and didn't get promoted , still think he is a good manager but seems to run out of steam if his teams get far ahead in the league

A team wouldn't let them come to is unless they are guaranteed regular football It's alright saying of course they have to play , but at what cost to us , surely you should only be playing them if they are better than what you have , which in my opinion with Little that is not the case , also if that were true what your saying is they will play in front of Nichol and Mcbride when fit ,surely not !
