Austin316
Fans of the juniors are famed for their sense of humour, what's the best nickname you've ever heard being shouted during a game? For me it was Stevie Mallan when he was still with kirky. He was known for taking no prisoners on the pitch and one fan had taken to calling him "the M8" cos he reckoned no one who dared cross him would survive. The M8 hadn't long been upgraded and perhaps the guy had been watching it on the news! I can't for the live of me remember the game but it still raises a smile. When you say kirky , do you mean kirky rob roy . I remember Mallon vaguely playing for us 20 years ago or more . When i clicked on this i was thinking you were asking for club nicknames. Austin316
Yes it would have been 96 as I remember euro 96 had not long finished. Can't remember anything else about the game but hats off to the guy for coming up with it.

Came back to haunt us a bit in 2009 when he played for talbot against us in the scottish cup semi final 2009. Must of been about 40 then. WaffenThinMint
"Noodles". One player in every bloody team Geordie Walker ever managed, with no logical explanation why. When the band Gorillaz were around, I always thought Jamie Hewlett ought to have drawn her with that old Leyton Orient type strip Johnstone Burgh had in their heyday. We signed noodles aka scott Finlay from Johnstone burgh who was a centre half and a good one at that. Home to ladeside and noodles goes up and nods a corner into the back of the net and a fan beside me roars without thinking ; " That was brilliant noodles , fantastic noodles it was super noodles "
