Shannon
Totally agree. Yourselves and us at Meadow have no fixture when really should have. We have 6 teams not in Junior Cup duty so that should mean 3 league games for example: Irvine Meadow v Glenafton Kilbirnie Ladeside v Shotts Beith v Petershill But nope 2 league games leaving two teams out. Just incompetence.
Juniorloyal
The worrying thing is that some one at the sjfa is not noticing this and if they are what the f**k is going on? Why would you leave 2 teams without a game when its possible to give all 6 teams available a fixture? With the bad weather recently meaning that clubs income is scarce this is beyond a joke. This can't just be a mistake. Not the brightest person in the world could work out that all teams could have a fixture. Would love to find out the reason why the fixtures have been drawn this way. Surely some one from the sjfa needs to come out and explain this?
Juniorloyal
Nothing to do with SJFA who is it to do with then?
Shannon
West Region Secretary or his Assistant. The secretary Mr Robertson is on holiday so his assistant. Anyone can feel free to contact them below nicely and maybe they will change it about tomorrow?! http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/sjfa/contact_scottish_fa.cfm?page=1818

Shannon
Who do I phone then? An will they Answer?' LADESIDE Could email them -West Region Secretary and his assistant, doubt they would respond but if enough people get in touch then may change their mind or think for future if 6 teams not in cup duty then have 3 league games if possible (which it was)
meanmistermustard
I think its beyond incompetence in a situation like this. 6 teams available so give them all a game, it cant get any easier.
clash city rocker
Awww ffs who's running the asylum if the lunatics are on holiday ?. This stupidity disnae surprise me,it's been going on since the Super leagues began...a local pub pool league is more competently ran. Robertson has more holidays than the queen..never there when he's needed, never needed when he's there. Lowland league anybody ?.
meanmistermustard
Don't the clubs officials involved look at how badly the fixtures are managed and think something must be done or is it the old pals act where the guys in charge of the fixtures are mates so nothing is said? We still have the joke that is the scheduling of the mid-week games to come.

glensmad
Another away game for Glencairn, despite us not having had a home game played since 29th November. Our scheduled fixtures since our last home game :- 6th December - away to Yoker (postponed). 13th December - away to Kilsyth (postponed). 20th December - away to Neilston (played). 27th December - home to Largs (postponed). 3rd January - away to Cumbernauld (postponed). 10th January - home to Thorniewood (postponed). 17th January - away to Greenock (postponed). 24th January - away to Greenock (played). 31st January - home to Irvine Vics (postponed). 7th February - away to Ardeer (played). 14th February - away to Kilsyth. So, in the 11 weeks since our last home league match was played, we have been scheduled to be away from home 8 times. Our 3 scheduled home league matches in that time have all been postponed along with every other match in the local area that day. Surely 3 home v 8 away is a bit of an imbalance ? Meanwhile we have to keep paying wages, bills etc.

Wee_albert
Surely there must be a place for an annual fixture list then you would know who you were due to play, with dates for the Scottish and west of scottish cups fitted in. The nature of the fixture secretary is a thankless jjob you won't keep everyone happy but why make it more difficult than it has to be. This is another point of lack of forward thinking by the SJFA and they have a part to play in this. But the clubs must take certain amount of blame for this because we have allowed it to happen for so long, surely if enough clubs wanted change then it could happen.
