Auld Heid
Saturday's game has been moved to Banks of Dee as Culters park is already deemed unplayable on Thursday (am). Due to work being undertaken by Banks of Dee the crowd capacity is a clearly insufficient 300. It seems that Culter initially only offered the Rose 80 tickets - 130 already booked to travel on the various supporters buses so clearly totally unacceptable for the demand. You add on an additional 20 from the team bus for committee and sponsors This has now been increased to 150 which is still well below a sufficient number to come anywhere near satisfying the travelling support. I just wonder if Culter or the SJFA who have sanctioned (?) this arrangement will be reimbursing any travelling Rose fan who is unable to get into the game. Another example of the ordinary fan being treated as a second class citizen.

Where is there something official. Your name was taken off the bus list - hence my assumption of non attendance Skipper are you supposed to be on the Swan/Bowling bus also? As I agree there is no real point running a bus without a game at the end of the trip.
FuzzyBear
North Region site confirm 300 capacity. Why move the game to an unsuitable venue.

Auld Heid
Clear case of gamesmanship by Culter? Which would be really sad if that was the case. They knew this on Tuesday yet failed to announce this until today why? Another shambles of a situation aided and abetted by the SJFA so much for respecting the traveling fans
whitburn exile
From the Culter Website Culter v Linlithgow Rose at Crombie Park Sat 7th Feb The Culter FC V Linlithgow Rose 4th Round Scottish Junior Cup tie will now be played at Banks O Dee (Spain Park) as Crombie Park pitch is not playable, KO is 2pm. Due to ongoing building work at Spain Park the stadium will have a crowd limit of 300 this cannot be exceeded for safety reasons. Please ensure supporters arrive early for the game or they may not get access. Absolutely shocking and a slap in the face for the Rose.
lithgierose
end of the day if they can call a game off two days before match day regardless of snow they should get hunted. lift the snow and give the pitch a chance to thaw out.meant to be above freezing today and tomorrow. LeedsPhil
If needs must : the Spain Park pitch is visible from the corner of the Tesco car park elevated above on Wellington Road on the other side of the railway tracks. Spectators are not allowed to stand on that side of the ground, so those lucky enough to have got inside won't block that latecomers'-view of the action... LexBestGoalEver84
I wonder if Mr Johnston will say it is to protect the integrity of the competition or will he say it is a match of convenience for the SJFA. I remember a replay against Fauldhouse being moved to Armadale because of crowd limit issues, but that was to allow more in. Another example of SJFA shambles if it goes ahead. HTG
It's my understanding that the current levels of access for our guys is a result of intervention by TJ. We'd be looking at far fewer otherwise given that the offer started at 80. It's an absolute disgrace when you've got guys travelling the thick end of 2 and a half hours to threaten them with not getting in.

I beleive the decision had to be made today . As it would of been to late to organise another venue if the match was postponed tomorrow afternoon . The reason the Falkirk game was played at links park was cause Spain park was unavaibile that Saturday . I for one wouldn't worry about the 300 limit as both aberdeen fc n cove Rangers are at home .
