Polmont FC
Futsal is the only version of small sided football that is recognised by FIFA. It is played indoors, up to lines rather than walls, and with a smaller, heavier ball than 11 asides. It is a fast-paced game that is great for improving skills and technique. We are looking for players to join our Futsal team, We will be playing in the Stirling Region league run by the SFA, games are refereed and played indoor on a wood surface or artificial material with a reduced bounce size 4 ball, the game is played over 2x20min halves and we have roll on roll off subs match is played with 5 players 1 of whom is a goalkeeper and a maximum of 9 subs, there is no limit on the amount of substitutions, the goal is just over 2mtr high and 3.16 mtr wide. As is an official league players need to be signed, this doesn't affect if you are already signed playing amateur or junior football, there are 6 teams in our league and we will play each team twice, the winner of our league will compete against the winners of other regions and players from this will be selected to represent Scotland in their futsal national team against other nations. Games are played on Sundays between 2pm and 5pm at Stirling University and full kit is given, we will know in advance what time we are playing so if all this appeals to you and you're looking to get involve in a professionally run futsal team get in touch with club secretary by private message or at polmontfc@outlook.com

Seekfedup
It's a cracking game, really enjoyable, it's like a tactical 5aside. I hear the national squad was selected recently and comprised largely of SFA staff. Maybe there could be a market for something similar in the west region?
