Pilton Drive is shut from the Morrisons lights up to Ainslie Park, I assume pedestrian access will still be possible but if you are in a motor vehicle, you'll either have to go up to Crewe Toll roundabout & take the Pilton exit, under the bridge & next right on to Pilton Avenue then down to the bottom & turn right on to Pilton Drive.

OR...

Take the Boswell Drive off Ferry Rd & follow that to Boswell Parkway & turn left on to Boswell Parkway & go all the way to the 1st wee roundabout & take the 1st exit, that's Pilton Drive & follow the road up to Ainslie Park.

OR...

You could maybe park on Morrisons carpark, there's no time limit on it, (well not at the moment) & walk to the ground from there? There's not a lot of parking at Ainslie Park anyway.

The Away end is on Pilton Avenue, so the top 1 is probably the best way to come in by car.

Are there any traffic restrictions between the helipad and the ground?

I'll get 1 of me lads to look after yer helicopter for a tenner mister, if you want it to still have it's blades attached by full time? ;)

Grimbo (the cutie).

Ps for those of you not traveling by helicopter make sure you add an extra bit of travel time, Crewe toll roundabout can be a bit of a pain at the best of times.

Had a look on google maps today, didn't seem to be many bars on road up to the ground? Any tips?

Spiers bar on Ferry Rd is ok but a bit far down. Then there's the Telford Arms on Telford Road, there's the Anchor Inn on Granton Road that's about 10 min walk away but I've never been in it, looks rough as f**k. There's a bowling club but I think you'd have to be a member that's down the bottom of Pilton Drive not far from the Anchor.

There's the Doocot in Drylaw & the Gunner in Muirhouse but I'd provably stay clear.
