SuperShug1910
Huge game next week for both teams in the fight to get out the relegation scrap. Was a very promising performance against Morton and if we play like that again I think we will win this one. I expect 1 or 2 more signings for Ayr this week as we looked light up top and never really had that cutting edge. Stenny played decent on their trip to Somerset but Ayr were in shocking form at the time. I expect this game to be hard fought and tight but Ayr to prevail with Ian McCalls first win. 2-0 Ayr, Donald and Forrest to score.
Hawk89
If we play anything like we did in the first 20 minutes of our last visit up there before our team was totally disrupted by injuries it'll be a fine afternoon indeed. Really looking forwards to this first game I've been to since before Christmas. Going for a bold 3-0 Ayr
Francesc Fabregas
Stenhousemuir have an odd habit of winning, losing their next two games, and then winning again - on nothing more than that basis, I fancy the Warriors to prevail here. I think a loss would be pretty grievous for both sides here. Ayr United seem to be improving incrementally but Stenny are very poor. I wasn't there yesterday but by all accounts we weren't very good and never once gave Forfar anything to think about.

PeterPrice
Be interesting to see if McCall sticks with the 3-5-2, don't see Donald getting dropped so don't see where Blakeman will fit in. Maybe move Donald into the midfield trio as Gilmour McLaughlin and Crawford all offer little going forward. Buzzing for the game though, #McCallMania

If so this could pave the way for McLaughlin getting the bum's rush!
Hawk89
Can Blakeman not play centre mid as well? If so this could pave the way for McLaughlin getting the bum's rush! According to wiki he can also play LM / CM, ideal for cover in that position. If we go 3-5-2 I'd rather he was deployed as the wingback and Donald played in the middle. Is Beattie injured or "injured"? Didn't hear McCall talk about him once at the meet and greet, he certainly looked one of our least fit players. diegomarahenry
If so this could pave the way for McLaughlin getting the bum's rush! McLaughlin looked friar tucked 20min into the game on Saturday, maybe a weeks worth of real training has taken it's toll on him...... Gilmore and Crawford had a good game and JPM did well at the back. McLaughlin played ok apart from him looking burst very early but he is dropping through the pecking order very quickly

callum-ayr
3 points on Saturday would be massive, hopefully kick on from here.
Shibuya
This is what a Hyde fan said about our new signing. I'm afraid to say he's painfully slow and carrying a bit of timber. Generally caught out of position because he is so sluggish and noticably tires towards the end of games due to a lack of fitness. Apart from that you've got yourself a terrific player! To be fair he does take a decent free-kick, very reminiscent of Stuart Pearce if you're old enough to have seen any of his free-kicks.

Moonglum25
Can't see anything but an Ayr victory. Booth is a terrible manager and all but our Board can see that. The big question is whether or not I can be bothered turning up. Have a season ticket so the club is not going to lose out but I really cannot be bothered watching the rubbish he has on offer then having to listen to his havering in the post match interview. It's fine McCall will have him in at 11 doing suicide runs whist everyone else is practicing set pieces. Whens the last time anyone can remember an Ayr manager hauling the players in early on a Saturday?
Rector
So he's basically Scott McLaughlin then? Only if he is genetically incapable of trapping the ball, tackling, or passing to a person in the same coloured shirt as him as well.
