glensmad
Assuming all of the current confirmed fixtures take place (a big assumption at this time of year, I know, but bear with me !), we will be into mid February without Rob Roy and Glencairn even being scheduled to play each other this season. Glencairn will have played every other team in the league and three others for a second time. Rob Roy will have a similar scenario, and will have played a game more. Yet Rob Roy v Glencairn or Glencairn v Rob Roy has not been scheduled at any stage this season. No postponed match due to bad weather or a cup replay, just not scheduled at any point. Is this a cunning ploy by Fixtures Man in conjunction with the P&B moderators to stop the board from exploding ?
Wee_albert
I know that a couple of years ago Blantyre Vics played a Scottish cup tie at Toryglen indoor pitch. I don't know if that is an option for the two teams.

Having read earlier that both you and RRG were making contingency plans to take in the Lok game on Saturday, and assuming (wrongly) that the thread title suggested some banter/boxing on the Newlandsfield terraces,I've got to say that your post has been a real letdown, glensmad! Well, a terracing meeting has been suggested on a couple of previous occasions, but my friend has not been up for the challenge so far. ;-)

RobRoyGuy
Well, a terracing meeting has been suggested on a couple of previous occasions, but my friend has not been up for the challenge so far. ;-)I get enough of your carry on here, I don't need it at the games as well thank you very much! I have been happy to chat to several posters on here at games but they have been fine never had the constant urge to grab them by the neck and choke them!! As for the games, I suspect or i hope they mean something by the time we play each other hopefully my own team are still going for second or third by then. Here's hoping we're both in contention whenever we meet and they are two cracking games. And here's hoping we can have a good friendly chat, I'm not difficult to find as you know. ;-)

airdrieman
Pretty farcical if that's the case. Can not see why the junior leagues can't have an official, organised set of fixtures.
