I assume so - which will likely confuse Largs punters arriving and not recognising the folk on the gate.

JM588
Will Rob Roy be paying Largs for use of their park if it is classed as their home game?

Barrfields_Largs
Both sets of fans will be happy. Extra income and no travel for us, chilli and not needing to set foot in Cumbernauld for a week for Rob Roy.
RobRoyGuy
Oh yes!! Chilli and rice!! Think this arrangement as you say suit both sides.
Barrfields_Largs
Oh yes!! Chilli and rice!! Think this arrangement as you say suit both sides. Could've just ground shared with us m8, since every poster on here is convinced were in cahoots. Hopefully we lie down and let Rob Roy capitalise on the inevitable Pollok self-destruction. Seriously though, 3-1 Largs
RobRoyGuy
Rob Roy 1 V Largs 0 . Not the best of games today , both sides struggled for most of the game in a really strong wind with a bit of sleet and rain mixed in. Thought we started well , looked fairly dangerous going forward, Connick in goals for Largs is what over 40 and retired and still looks a very solid keeper , excellent handling and dealt with most things thrown at him. Gave away the penalty though that resulted in the only goal of the game coming out to close down Stevie Aitken only to body check him and take him out, Penalty for sure for me , Connick just lacked that bit of pace / shaprness( understandably ) to get out and deal with the ball. Penalty was scored by Scott Upton. Second half Largs actually played fairly well knocked it about well and had decent periods of pressure just couldn't make a clear cut chanced for themselves. Looked to have a decent shape to them something to build on for the rest of the season. My own team were solid at the back did well in that dept, but struggled to seriously trouble the Largs keeper . My first look our of new wide man Davidson , looks decent , direct and can beat a man . Excellent chilli and rice as usual , as always one of my favorite away venues. Rinty Doyle
I assume so - which will likely confuse Largs punters arriving and not recognising the folk on the gate. Surprised to see Largs committee on gate today but even more surprised when I heard (from very reliable source) what the financial arrangements were for today. I'm not stating this as fact and happy to listen to anyone who knows to the contrary but here goes: Largs apparently wanted to play the game at Barrfields so agreed to pay for the Rob Roy bus. Largs agreed to give Rob Roy half the gate money. Rob Roy paid for match officials. Given it is Rob Roy who are playing a Scottish tie next week, I would have thought this a crazy gesture on Largs' part, given their present position being without a manager. Anyone with any sense (at Largs) should have been happy to have time to get a new manager in and re-group.........or have they already accepted they will be an ADL team next season? Fear no foe
Who knows what I was thinking heading out to a game in that weather but by f**k that was awful to watch. Was gonna head for Medda v Hurlford but thought id seen enough of those 2 this season, think I made the wrong choice. No just the players, obviously conditions made it a poor spectacle. RobRoyGuy
To be fair it would have been difficult for top professional players to have looked half decent in that weather! Just happy to go up the road with the three points. Rice and chili was worth the trip alone!
