Irvine Meadow v Clydebank was called off last season due to high winds. Last December I think.

Aye the nock were at Largs that day and ours got called off an hour before kick off due to the wind

Yes there is provision for Referee's to call games off if it's too windy.

Comes back to me that the biggest upset in years when Inverness put Celtic out the Scottish the first scheduled date was postponed due to gale force winds. It was called Celtic's Berwick :thumsup2

I think it is the correct decision is games do not go ahead if high winds because the game becomes a lottery to see who wins. i would much prefer to play in the pissin rain and cold rather than the wind if just makes the game rubbish but that's my opinion.
