Dundee FC vs Relegated St Mirren

Recommended Posts

No reason why we shouldn't and couldn't improve our GD against this lot with Harkins and McGowan back in. Knowing our home form this season so far and the way we've been playing the past few weeks, St Mirren will probably walk away with their easiest points of the season.

Good news that Steven Thompson is suspended for this. I still would not be surprised in the slightest if the Maureens take all 3 points here. Realistically though, we should be comfortably despatching of them to leave them further in the shit.

Dundee 17 St Mirren -3

Heading up for this one, never took the train up to Dundee for a game before. Suggestions on a decent place to grab some lunch near the train station and then a boozer reasonably close to the ground to get the prematch swallies in? :)

Klozet is within walking distance of the train station for a pint then a couple of quid for a taxi to Dens.

Just don't make the beginner's mistake of looking at a map and thinking you can stay drinking in the city centre and nip along the road to Dens at quarter to three. Respect the Hulltoon. Get a taxi.

As Deeman suggests defo the klozet,Great pint and is a real mans pub.

Opposition fans usually get a good reception as it's a Utd pub. I've heard they actually stand and applaud Dundee's opposing fans on match day when they walk through the doors - they love to give you a warm hand on your entrance (copyright Julian Clary).
