Lets be honest, if Hibs had their shooting boots on it could have been game over by half time.[/quote

Entirely true. Our goal went right through the goalies hands too.

No complaints, but I'm sure Murray will have something.

Thought a draw would have been a fair result tbh, 3-1 was a bit flattering for how we played ... I have nothing against any of our Players today, they all worked there socks off, got stuck in and actually bothered there arse to try , for once they went out with a bit of fight and determination, something that's been lacking of late ...

No doubts about it, Murray not making any changes and being his usual clueless self cost us something from that game, after 65/70 minutes you could tell McKay and Callaghan were tiring, the midfield where dropping deeper and it was allowing Hibs to come onto us ... A Manager who had half a brain would have made his subs then, get Anderson on, get Vaughen or Elliot on (where was Moon ?), add some fresh legs and have an out ball but nope, that requires knowing how to manager ...

No doubt Murray will say again we were "unlucky" and things just "didn't go our way" ... The board are now allowing it to get to a situation that if Cowdung beat us, we will pretty much be in the relegation zone ... The quicker these clowns wake up and get Murray to france the better.

Really tough one to take. Some really good spells of play, especially in the 2nd half that we just never capitalised on.

The header of course was a perfect lesson that if you switch off you will get punished. A brief lapse and Fontaine had all the time to tuck his header away. That took the wind out the sails and Hibs added a 3rd.

Not sure if the protest was followed through but there was some right p***k in the main stand who sat quiet for 80 minutes and before the ball had even hit the net for the second he kicked off. Made worse by the fact he was wearing a Christmas hat.

But it's another defeat, I'm only hoping that we seize the next few games, we really need a good haul of points over christmas. If we play as we did today thats not improbable.

Big shouts to Callahan, McKay and Thomson today.

That was disappointing. We were the better side by quite some margin between half time and Hibs' second, and if we'd scored in that period I don't think Hibs would've come back at us. That said, Hibs absolutely walked it once they were in the lead, and they looked dangerous throughout the first half.

Callachan really impressed me in that period when we were on top, and Jimmy Scott looks much more comfortable in that deeper role (even if he did give the ball away for the third).

You can tell Barrie McKay is used to playing football in a team that wins. He's not careful enough with the ball. He's obviously used to there being very little consequence to him losing possession, so he tries a lot of stuff (which is definitely a positive a lot of the time) and gives the ball away too often. Playing for Rangers (or a Rangers youth team) chances are your defence will win it back and you can go on attacking again, but at Stark's Park against Hibs, you're going to get punished more often than not. He did so well for the goal, but with hindsight, he should've been off for Anderson five or ten minutes before the goal.

There's certainly no lack of effort amongst the players, and I hope they realise that the majority of fans recognise that (apparently the bother last week was down to someone accusing Nade of not trying hard enough).

I'll be interested to see how Murray approaches the January window. No doubt we'll jettison Perry, but will he use the wages to bring in another body? I'm not sure which area he'd want to bolster first.

The team that deserved the points got them. Yes, it was frustrating to see Hibs get their second after we'd had the better of the second half, but Hibs would've been out of sight if Malonga had any sort of finishing ability in the first half whatsoever. No complaints at all about the result.

The first half was pretty dismal from us - all Hibs and the amount of times they got in behind McKeown was ridiculous. Only poor finishing held them back before we took the lead completely against the run of play from McKay. I doubt Oxley will want to see it again given it appeared to go right through him, but somehow we were ahead. Unfortunately, that lasted until just before half time when Hibs equalised.

We actually played well in the second half until Hibs scored (which understandably knocked the stuffing out of us). We weren't exactly forcing the keeper into save after save, but we were applying some pressure on and had the majority of the ball. It is at this point where a competent manager will sense that things are good, but something is missing, and make a change. Unfortunately, Grant Murray didn't, and we ended up 2-1 behind because we allowed a Hibs player a completely free header. By the time we did actually make a change, we were 3-1 down and the game was gone.

Individually, Thomson Conroy and Stewart all played quite well. After a poor first half Mckeown was better in the second, but I don't think anyone really played badly. We do lack a bit of creative spark in midfield, though. Certainly, you can't accuse us of being utterly awful today - we weren't, although we still deserved to lose.

I can't understand Barry McKay's MOM award today. Yes, he scored and occasionally beat a man, but he seems to specialise in passing the ball to no-one in particular or losing it, and seems unable to decide where to run/position himself. He is a play ground football player - give him the ball and tell people to get it off him and he'll excel at keeping it. Put him on a pitch, require him to make decisions and pick someone out and he can't hack it. Looks flashy, little/no end product.

1 win in 11 games. 4 home wins in 2014. Murray out.

Let's be honest Hibs should have been 2 up at halftime,a bit of luck and poor finishing by Malonga prevented that, thought Rossco had a fantastic game my MOTM.. Rovers had the 3 points in sight but Murrays lack of subs killed it for us. Anderson should have been on long before he did but as usual Murray waits until we're a goal down before making any subs. Just waiting on the usual Murray line of excuses in his post match interview and the patronising crap from My Drysdale back the manager! well I'm sorry I ain't blind and I ain't stupid sack him before its to late.

Interesting spectator today was Billy Brown taking his seat in the south stand with another individual! New Murray assistant maybe?

Can't fault the players. They were unlucky today (albeit, had Hibs had their shooting boots on it would've been over far quicker) and put in a very good shift. Callachan in particular has shown in his last few games he's more than capable of holding his own at this level. Quite why we wanted to put him out on loan is beyond me as, in my opinion, he's been our best prospect through our youth system in years.

As with most others, felt that changes should've been made quicker. Anderson could've offered us a bit of presence towards the end had he been brought on sooner.

Thought we were alright today actually.

Agree with what others have said regarding the amount of times Hibs (Malonga in particular) were presented with a clear sight at goal being pretty ridiculous. Nae idea how he didn't have a hatful today.

McKeown must be under direction to come in and narrow our defence when the opposition are coming through the middle, presumably under the supposition that his left midfielder will be covering.

That wasn't working.

Onwards and sideways.

Yet again Murray refuses to make a change. better performance but completely irrelevant. One win in 11, four points the gap to Cowden.

Barrie McKay man of the match.

Yeah. Ridiculous that Murray ignored the substitutes again.

The MOM was a strange one. Then again that's often the case.
