Brig O'Lea
Tomorrow's match against Maybole sees Neilston legend James Canning's last game for the club as he's off to take up a new job in Dubai. James came to Brig O'Lea in the summer of 2005 from Benburb after previously playing for Johnstone Burgh. He was part of our 'double' side of 2005/06 who won the Sectional League Cup against East Kilbride Thistle at Firhill and the Superleague 1st Division Championship. James moved on to Beith and later Dalry Thistle before returning to the Farmer's Boys in July 2011 and played a major part in the Central District League 1st Division championship win last season. We wish James and his wife all the best in their travels and we'll miss this kind of finishing up at the Brig!
Hertha_BJFC
James is one of the nicest guys In the juniors and is an excellent character . He more than played his part when beith juniors won the west of Scotland cup in 2008/2009 and came off the bench down at Cumnock in our 2-1 win down there in the semi and changed the game for us. Best wishes to James in his life changing move from all at beith juniors
