RobRoyGuy Posted December 5, 2014 Share Posted December 5, 2014 I know there has been a few threads over the years on this in relation to old ground pictures , but wanted to start one as i have a school pal who lives abroad looking for some old junior ground pictures i can send to him . To cut a long story short he is looking to share them with his father who was a junior supporter through the 60's 70's and 80's. If anyone has any in particular aerial shots of grounds where you can also see the surrounding area then could you post in here if its ok for me to pass on. I got this cracker of Adamslie from around the time i first went to the ground 1986-1988 . Not saw one better of our ground looks brilliant. The big old stand .... with the enclosure over the far side . The big social club behind one goal.The pitch looks a bit dry and it looks like its been lined with saw dust .If you click on the image it closes up even more. Fear no foe Posted December 6, 2014 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Not a great quality picture at all but you can just about make out the old changing rooms between the 2 shed's as opposed to opposite as they are now. garrellburn Posted December 8, 2014 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Passed Adamslie today and as far as I can see there is still no sign of any further demolition work, pavilion is still standing and presumably pitch is untouched. I know developers wanted possession months ago but they have done nothing since. Maybe you could be back playing there next season when they go bust.
