Nitten?? By 'best crowds' do you mean good guys or a big number of supporters? Their home support was pitiful when Bo'ness were there a couple of weeks ago.

I noticed you also declined to mention how vastly outnumbered the Linlithgow support are at home by the 'Darkside' when we visit... :P

aye but we stay untill the end ^_^:P

If I was from Boness I would be keen to get out of the place and over the hill to Lithgie as well.

we're a big club but we have a poor support? I don't get that.

It is surprising with the size of irvine how meadow dont have a big support, part of it must be the fact that irvine's vast housing estates are full of incomers with the glasgow people moving in the 70's, okay you will be into 2nd or 3rd generation born in irvine but as a whole there isnt much of a football support in irvine at all. Yes there is a rangers and celtic supporters clubs but you find that in almost every big town in scotland, there is a killie bus too but even with irvine having a spl club on their doorstep there isnt hundreds going to rugby park every week. meadow isnt a bad club, the facilities for fans are good. Perhaps irvine is a town of armchair fans

You win things but have a piss poor support, especially considering the size of town your from and the things you win.

HTH

our support isn't piss poor. Played in front of crowds over 1500 several times in the last few seasons.

Unlucky

So? We've had several +1000 gates over the last few seasons, but it doesn't make our support good. It's probably worth mentioning our town is a 1/4 of the size, which technically makes our rare instances of big crowds more impressive.

We're too busy boarding up our homes for the usual one away game a season neanderthals end of match show as they get a police escort over the hill ! ....

you'll have instances where 'the whole town' gets behind the team. Same with every small town. That kind of community spirit doesn't exist in Irvine. Regular games with 250+ with the odd 1000+ big game is good going for any junior team.

Unlucky again.

Ayr United can take 30,000 to a Scottish cup final as can st mirren , Dundee United and teams of that such ilk.

At the end of the day who cares what teams can attract each week and I just want everyone from crowds of 25 to 65,000 to enjoy it. :) .

There's nothing quite like going to a game on a Saturday regardless of the level, the amount of people attending or the general feel of being at a game as opposed to watching jeff and co on sky which has really had an adverse impact on crowds everywhere due to the guys who would rather put a coupon on and watch that shite rather than watch a local football game. :(

You honestly think 250 for a club of your size is good going? Emm, ok

Just because we are a big town does not mean we should have a big support. East Kilbride would have biggest support in Juniors if so. We have a very decent support not the best but certainly no where near worst in top league. In the big games we have had a very large support as over or near 1k for number of big Junior and Senior Cup games in recent years but these fans seem to go missing come run of mill league games. Bo'ness and Hurlford in Junior Cup last season both games at home well over 1000 fans quite easily. Just wish support would turn up every week or at least every second week while at home.
