djchapsticks
Was driving through Glasgow city centre today and I noticed a pillar to my left which normally has grafitti of some kind has been covered up with a very head turning black and white image of a young lady holding a yellow sign. It's probably a copycat, but first thing I said to the missus was that it looked like a Banksy....and received a completely blank look for my remark. Anyone else seen it lately? It looks quite new, but I haven't been through Glasgow in several weeks. For reference, this is where it is, on the same pillar that's grafitti'd in his google maps image. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@55.8691343,-4.2688617,3a,75y,38.28h,75.22t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sV_6DSvfPpyUuFqpKQCoJww!2e0

milton75
The only banksy stuff in Glasgow was done years ago when he had the exhibition in the Arches. There are a couple of sprayed template-style pics in the city centre and a few others tucked away.
ArabianKnight
^^^ Absolutely doesn't know the artist type-post IMO. Yeah I guess being an internationally known and exhibiting street artist means I know little of what goes on in my own backyard. Twat.

Banksy doesn't do big murals like that, its either been Rogue One, Smug or Ejek.

ArabianKnight
I take it you know the one I mean, I tried getting a photo but it was too dark. I think so, most of the big pieces in Glasgow has been done by one of those 3 (or a collaboration between them). I'll have a look when I'm through this weekend though. SimonLichtie
I can't help but find it extremely amusing that a lot of people appear to think 'Banksy' is the only person who does anything artistic, and anyone seen doing a piece must be him
