Mr Romanov
Ally McCoist, eh? Some man like. Cracking player and all round good guy for most when he was boabying that lassie off Question of Sport. Eyes full of joy and laughter. Fast forward a few years to the death of Rangers and he actually looks ill. A bitter, cynical, twisted man these days. You can only go through that transformation while being involved with the Old Firm. It is actually incredible how bad a job he has done for Rangers. I look at young Robbie Neilson, full of ideas and methods that Super Ally could only dream of implementing and shudder to think how well he'd have Rangers playing right now had he been in there from the beginning. He is a shite version of Walter Smith. His half-arsed plan starting from division three still baffles me to this day. They could have built something unique and exciting with a young team coming through the leagues together, instead they bought every mercenary they could find to create some illusion Rangers are still a big club. This unfit, unmotivated, uninspiring McCoist side now face an embarrassing season of looking up at Hearts with double the budget, a real struggle in the play-offs and an absolute hammering off ra sellick. McCoist is without a doubt the worst working manager in Britain and one of the worst I can ever recall. Anyone think otherwise?

Mr Romanov
Isn't this what Souness and Murray did? True but at least the players they brought in were high quality rather than shite like Templeton, Miller etc.

Apollo King
McCoist is very good tactically , you have to give him that , as he has a plan A - punt the ball up to Boyd then a plan B to confuse teams late on , punt the ball up to Daly , very shrewd coach . ETA At the time Rangers hoovered up a lot of talent who were on the fringes of 'making it' down south and were recycled for a bob or two, said profit went into buying condoms for Murray. Who knew that when they went bust that it wouldn't be the highlight of this whole sorry Rangers saga and that their 'comeback' where they blow millions for an average team would be even more enjoyable. Aye the England Captain who played for a World select team the summer we bought him was on the fringes of making it down south. FFS!!!
Scary Bear
When you've learned everything you know from a dinosaur who loves long ball football and is a cheque book manager, you're only going to become dinosaur junior; an inferior version of the original at that. Rovers have currently got the poor man's equivalent, with Murray replacing McGlynn. To be fair to McCoist his strategy of playing long ball shite and signing players who should be playing at a higher level is working. It probably isn't helping the financial situation, but it's working on the footballing side. They just have to pip Hearts to the title. Hearts are bound to have a dip in form at some stage and pick up some dodgy results.

That may not even guarantee the, SPFL football next season. That is staggering.

But yeah, they may not play in the Premiership...
Mr Romanov
Most of the players he brought in who were half decent for the clubs they played with have regressed since going to Ibrox. Every single player who has signed for Rangers has been motivated by massive money and nothing else. That is one of the many differences between the Hearts squad and the Rangers squad and it shows massively.
