tynie1874
Costing £120 to hire Spartans (Astro) to play their over 35s team today, is that the going costs? Bit pricey?

HibeeJibee
Seemingly: £150 stadium pitch £125 back pitch (£25 discounts for local users). Not unreasonable. http://www.spartanscfa.com/facilities/ EDIT: K-Park (East Kilbride) is £120 with discounts for children http://www.k-parktrainingacademy.co.uk/price-list.html Netherdale was initially £90 but I understand it's increased considerably, controversy in local paper IIRC. https://web.archive.org/web/20130812214024/http://www.sportborders.org.uk/3g-arena-netherdale.html

The All Black egg chasers were on our stadium pitch today but I left just before they ran out on it, can someone explain to me why (however many are in) a rugby team need security? Grimbo It'll be cos they're the most famous New Zealand celebrities on the planet. Think of the England football team ( although more successful and level headed with it) an when they go abroad- willing to bet there's security with them. Oh, and even the folk in Auckland know what Piltons like..........

Oh, and even the folk in Auckland know what Piltons like.......... Aye namby-pamby over-paid Lilly-livered Jessie-boys, they'd need security just to take their extravagant gasoline-guzzling school run machines. I was talking about big strapping lads that do a weirdo dance. The Pilton pirates are all being banged up rapid style (according to the polis reports). But your point is still valid. tynie1874
Was played on the standside pitch, good performance from the Spartans auld boys. Boy that plays up front knows where the goal is played beside LD? Had vale of leithen assistant jimmy Rae at left back who commended me for playing well. Quite enjoyable and they've still got it for auld codgers.
