airdriefan100
For most overrated I'd go for 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later, were both good they weren't worth the ratings they got when they came out Most Underrated-Can't really think of any tbh
peeeel
28 days later was great, 28 weeks later no so much. Most over-rated movie; Pulp fiction (And I'm a big Tarantino fan). Most Under-rated movie; Dead man shoes, brilliant UK movie that so many missed out. WeeHectorPar
The Hangover has to be the biggest load of tripe ever. There was nothing at all funny about it unless you have the brain of a mentally under-developed amoeba.
Ludo*1
Overrated - Blade Runner and The Dark Knight. Underrated - Wolf, the original Silent Hill film and Session 9. The last of which is one of the best horrors out there, not a single jump, but very creepy and it delves into the idea of the mind. ETA: Having looked up Wolf there on IMDB, perhaps I was being hasty saying it was underrated.
jock001
Underrated: Final cut with jude law and ray winstone. Its all set during the funeral of Law's character and it tuens out he's spent the last couple of years secretly filming and recording all the most sordid stuff all his mates have done, the stuff they would like kept secret. They all end up watching the film together.
We Are Pars Fans!
Star Wars is totally over rated, load of pish.

Ira Gaines
Overrated: The Dark Knight. Still a very good movie in my book, but not anywhere near a classic or even a great. It's a good way to spend yer time sure enough and keeps your interest held. And of course, features a glorious performance from Heath Ledger. Underrated: Fear got a bit of a panning from critics and others. But it's a real fun movie I think. A bit ludicrous at times, which may have been what turned a lot of people off, but I enjoyed it immensely.
dave_binos
Going Overboard is under-rated. It's a really shit film which makes it all the more enjoyable when you sit down to watch it.
J_Stewart
Underrated: V for vandetta. Magnificent film that doesn't seem to get the acclaim it deserves. Hugo Weaving was excellent in it.
Ludo*1
Underrated: V for vandetta. Magnificent film that doesn't seem to get the acclaim it deserves. Hugo Weaving was excellent in it. Read the comic and you'll realise that the film, whatever rating it does have, is well overrated.
jock001
I thought the mood in the film of V for vandetta was really good and kept close enough to the comic to be a great film. It wasn't as close as sin city managed but it still worked.

Clarkston5
Overrated - Django Unchained, Kill Bill (both) & Inglorious Basterds Underrated - The Way (Emilio Estevez), Edge of Darkness, The Passion of the Christ, The Assassination of Jessie James by the coward Robert Ford
Bert Raccoon
The most over-rated movie of all time is The Wolf of Wall Street. I would disagree, off the top of my head I can think of Avatar, Inception and Slumdog Millionaire who were all hyped and acclaimed but nowhere near as good as expected. DAFC
Star Wars is definitely overrated, Empire Strikes Back is the best of a bad bunch. I used to love them as a kid and once you look at them as an adult film away from any emotion connected to memories they suddenly look terrible. Couldn't care less about the new films, they'll be green screen moronfests.
Ludo*1
It's a good movie. Couldn't give a f**k about the comic. You do tend to like shite tbh. But also, the post wasn't directed at you so your opinion on it is irrelevant. The best reply I can give you is, 'That's nice'.
