Forgot to mention, Scotland and MAC have never worked well as a pairing. Brophy would have been a far better option to bring on to partner Jason when we were chasing the game. He played out his skin midweek scoring a hat-trick, one an overhead kick and a screamer. If we're not careful we will end up losing him if he isn't given a half decent run in the team and who could blame him.

Good point. Jason was well marshalled, Big MAC Brought little to the show.

Gerry Collins in a Campbell bunnet. I'm still fucking spooked.

That was wierd, eh?

Imagine people clapping that bully!

The players under his tenure still laugh at his rough-house tactics.

Stick to CP and where ever else please taxi-driver.

I genuinely couldn't believe he was there. I'm surprised he even would want to show up. His tenure was a horrible experience for all parties involved.

No failures in the team today

Thought considering the time of year and how many times we play each other in the league there was a very decent sized Accies support there

Mentioned this in another thread. Our support was very good today by our standards, well up from our league game at Firhill this season IMO. The Thistle support looked down from the league game despite the reduced prices, especially in the Jackie Husband stand.

Not even a half hearted performance , we should have just played the youth team today if the object was to just arse around with little effort for 90 mins , Partick fully deserved the win and good luck in the next round and beyond , it was always a hard draw but get the feeling the club are not fussed about going out so early .

Gallagher. Frans. Seabo.

We all know these three names should be on the starting 11 week in, week out. Fox is very much all sugar or all shit, whereas Gallagher is solid and we may as well use his last good years.

I'm interested to see our goal conceding record over the next 5/6/7 games. With Frans and Seabo in I have few worries and look forward to seeing if they prove to be a consistent CB pairing, which I have no doubt they will. Again, Seaborne's forehead was our best defensive tool.

Higgy being back in the starting 11 was fucking lovely btw. He had a few iffy touches today, but when it worked it was lovely.

Despite going into today being MEH, that was the most fun I've had at home this season since the Ross County pumping. Seeing the Accies "casuals" being escorted down Maryhill Rd by a solitary policeman made me lol hard.
