Poet of the Macabre
Biggest question is; will this game be picked by BBC or Sky?
jagfox
It'll be lucky to get a mention on the vidi-printer after that dog's breakfast of a draw.

DA Baracus
I think Stranraer should just do the sporting thing and fotfeit the game.

Clayhole Blue
In that case, no, we won't be pedanting the tie...

Parscelona
Unfortunately we just missed out on being live on television.
Clayhole Blue
Still, the TV companies can always choose one of the three remaining league meetings to choose, or - perish the thought - a replay! I am looking forward to this now as it is an opportunity to progress in the cup. But it would still have been nice to play someone different after meeting Peterhead in the last round. A good chance for either club to make the 5th round.
DAFC
Winning this could make the difference in signing one or two good quality players for the run in. Will be tough, expect us to win or get a replay. Anyone for guessing the amount of seconds we get on Sportscene? Going for 35.
DA Baracus
How will winning this enable us to bring in a couple of players? It’s not like we’ll make loads out of this game. And there are costs for the team and staff getting there. Is there prize money awarded for getting through? Can’t imagine that would be a lot either. Not saying you’re wrong, just can’t see how it would be possible. I thought we were operating on the old ‘one in one out’ policy anyway? I would be pretty angry if we took any ‘gambles’ in January. I don’t think we need to bring in any more players anyway. We have a decent enough squad that has not been performing in my view. Oh and I’d say about 45 seconds, but only because there will be 3 goals (it will end up 2-1 to either side). If we lose then I hope no one comes out with ‘good, we need to concentrate on the league; the cup is a distraction’ bullshit. Anyone who says that is talking utter pish and I’d have to question if they are actually a football fan. The type of fan that comes out with such shit is the same type of mewling cretin who wants a ‘big team at home for the money’ in cup draws. f**k that and all those who say such pathetic bullshit. Obviously I’d like to see us win, and indeed go as far as possible in the cup. Cup runs are ace.
Shandon Par
Jefferies says he has players in mind to bring back in to the team for this one - maybe Moffat and Urquhart? Not traipsing down to this one so any kind of win would be great - JJ can play as many central midfielders as he likes if it helps grind out a win. Parscelona
He better fucking not. The only change should be someone coming in for Williamson, the rest of the team should be the exact same as the starting line up on Saturday.

After Stirling game he said ""We are away from home next week, it is a cup tie and maybe there is a player or two in my mind that we maybe need for that game"
Parscelona
Well if he makes more than the one change required then he's a tube. Stating obvious facts that its a cup tie and that we're away from home are not valid reasons for changing a winning team.

Must be like a dagger in his heart every time the winger-laden u20s go out and butcher another SPL team! Grudgingly gives it a go against Stirling and we cruise to victory but in his eyes Stair Park is not a place for such fancy dan stuff and it's the perfect excuse to get back to a more stodgy approach. Poet of the Macabre
If JJ makes significant changes a team that won 4-0 and then we go out of the cup then he will be slaughtered. U 20's won 6-1 against Partick this afternoon, including an Andy Geggan hat-trick, so they are all fighting to be involved.
