f**k that.

If you c***s can get a half decent support together get this shit going at Hampden.

League cup semi-final. Can't see more than 8,000 United fans.

Easter Road holds over 20,000. Get it packed instead of a half empty Hampden.

12,000 at the semi in 2008 at Tynecastle... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_cups/7226724.stm

We took 12k+ to Mordor last season after a big call to arms, so probably looking at ~10,000 for this one? Fcuk being stuck up in that Hampden corner, get it at Tynie or as ArabFC says Easter Road.

Pity there's not ~30k sized stadium in the country.

Eh, naw.

That would give Aberdeen fewer tickets than we have season ticket holders, we shouldn't be punished just because United are small time.

BIG difference between numbers we will take to a league cup semi compared to a scottish cup ane!

I'm sure they'll play it at Hampden anyway, and it won't be even half full.

This is easily a Hampden game.

Last year Tynecastle was sold out for Saints vs Aberdeen, with some Dons fans unable to get tickets. Dundee United will bring a larger support than Saints did and so will Aberdeen due to the occasion. There could easily be over 20,000 at this game because I presume both teams will highly fancy their chances.

Unfortunately Scotland doesn't have a 30,000 seater ground which is a crying shame really. The atmosphere would be terrific.

Easter Road has 20,481

Can we afford to lock fans out of the games in Scotland?

I will admit that the Tynecastle semi was the best Dons atmosphere I've ever experienced, but it would be a terrible shame if folk didn't get to see the game as it likely won't be on TV.

We're all forgetting Hibs at home that weekend. Which means two things.

They probably won't want to move their own game to Sunday and clash with Old Firm game, and they probably won't want to play on pitch in February a day after a semi-final.

If it's Tynecastle, it'll be a lunchtime kick-off to avoid the Hibs game, and lunchtime kick-offs are shite.

Has to be Hampden.
