Around 50 police officers carrying riot shields and wearing balaclavas were deployed on Cockburn Street, in the citys historic Old Town, at around 10pm on Saturday evening. http://www.scotsman.com/news/scotland/top-stories/major-police-incident-in-edinburgh-city-centre-1-3584102 Some people on Twitter saying it's a shooting.
