Yes, all too familiar performance under him, proved were still as poor as we were 3 years ago under him

We managed to stay in the playoff spot last year because other clubs were as bad as us and this year looks like the same format

Anyone who has seen us the last 3 weeks will know we wont win the league despite no one being a standout team

Change now and maybe go up as champions, wait and maybe be in the play-offs

The chairman has previously stated Roberts will be safe in the job until Christmas at least (and possibly for the rest of the season). No point in calling for him to be sacked as it's not going to happen. He should have gone last season but we are stuck with him for now, so we might as well try and make the best of a bad situation. As calamitous as the results have been we are only six points off the top, which is what the powers that be will use as a reason to justify his continuation in the job.

Exactly.

The Chairman could not have been much clearer whilst still giving himself some room for maneuver as to the timing - back in May he came out with this, in case anyone has forgotten: http://www.ayrunitedfc.co.uk/to-our-support/

So unless or until we drop into the bottom half of the table and stay there for a while then Roberts is safe in his job.

There is absolutely no point in our getting on this back and making things any more difficult at home games than they already are. We need to stay United, something we have shown we are not terribly good at in recent years when things start going wrong. I'm as frustrated as anyone at the glacial pace of change at the Club but, managerial nous aside, things have shown signs of improvement this season. Let's stay onboard a while longer and hope the listing ship can right itself. The relief of a Cup game is a good place to start...

Should be given a new contract with a significant pay rise IMO.

That was how he got rewarded for failure at the end of last season. He seems to have the most secure job in football although nobody can quite understand why.
