RobRoyGuy
Noticed bellshill are have cash problems ( players not being paid ) and fear losing their best players , mckay , selkirk , dolan , crainey were mentioned. The chairman was under the impression they would be moving back to bellshill in this month but this has been put back till feb . Seems like the club are having to cut there cloth so they can pay rent ,bils. Hope it all works out for them , sure it will. ( When did bellshill last play a home game in bellshill ? new brandon ? ) Whats the situation with benburb ? is their new stadium near completion near their old ground ? who are they sharing with again (renfrew ? ) . The port were sharing with johnstone burgh , have they resolved their problems with parklea ? On johnstone burgh was told an interesting rumour about them only this week , around the manager who seemingly bought keanie park from the club ?? Why would the manager be buying the land from the club ? Were they not supposed to be moving to a stadium in conjunction with the council or has that been scrapped ? Rossvale some talk of them building on what they have and construction a new stadium in bishopbriggs , possibly huntershill. Sounds good , good structure at rossvale and bishopbriggs is a decent catchment area. Ourselves - Things seem to have stalled a bit , our old ground has been taken apart as we speak with the pavilion being demolished any day now. The land where the new ground will be built has been fenced off but little progress has been made whereas the new school next door is near completion after only a few months of construction . Can't now see our new stadium being ready for Aug 2015 so looks like we will be ground sharing again next season. Anyone else ground sharing in the west, who i have missed ? Btw i got asked today who were the last two ayrshire junior clubs who ground shared for whatever reason , anyone know ?
fan of the juniors
Beith shared with Winton for a season not sure when but one of their lads will know am sure Saltcoats played away from home for a season or 2 as well Passed Bens park the other day & half the park has been laid already Port are back home I'm led to believe Was it George Wa**er that bought Keanie park as he does own Abercorn Builders? Valuable piece of land up there #COTB
Brig O'Lea
Benburb used Brig O'Lea last Saturday for their WoS Cup game against Girvan. Of course they also played their final league games last season up at Neilston. I'd imagine the club will be happy to help them wherever possible until their new ground is ready as we are good friends with the Bens.

Valuable piece of land up there #COTB We groundshared with ardrossan winton rovers in season 2002/2003 after work on our pitch concerning the drainage never turned out as hoped and Bellsdale was out of use the whole season so the work could get further carried out. We had a cracking time playing our " home" games down at ardrossan in the super first division and the chippy at the top of Glasgow street got hammered every half time by myself and tommy. Hillonearth
Saltcoats groundshared with somebody (Ardeer?) a few years ago when Campbell Park was out of action. Bellshill spent a season at the 3G at the Matt Busby in the town - they called it West End Park while they were there - but that's been a few years now they've been at Fullarton. keeper1
This might be true or just rumours but what I have heard is Johnstone burghs ground was owned by a house builder who bought it a few years ago when they were meant to move to a new stadium. The ground that the park is on is built on old mines which caused problems with the planning permission. George walker bought the land off the house builder and now the burgh rent it off him. He is no longer the manager either. With regards to the new stadium the plans have fell through but not sure of the reason but I do know that the thorn amateurs now play at the site that was meant for the burgh! RobRoyGuy
So what happens to the burgh in the future when Mr Walker is no longer around and the family sell it all for big profit in the process recouping money he has put into them over the years .This is a possibility. keeper1
Doubt it would be worth much after they found problems with the land. Saying that I ain't a builder so who knows. Something like that could ruin a club
RobRoyGuy
Sorry who is the burgh manager nowadays? Guy Walker was recently i knew that. All sounds bit well how can i put this...... Well burgh could find themselves in a precarious position in the future. I hope not a good club with good history.
keeper1
Davie brolly and Colin smith are joint managers. Seem to be doing ok in 2nd division. Been on end of a couple of heavy defeats against higher up opposition though
