There are possibly a fair number of Gibraltarians who now live in London anyway. I don't think many will live in Sunderland, and it would be a bu**er to get to from Gib anyway. This is supposed to be confirmed by the end of the year, so still plenty of time to get booked up no matter where it is. However, is this not during the October 'school week'?
