Cicero
For the benefit of those among us who are taking advantage of the October holidays and getting sunburnt in sunnier climates, could someone give me a run down of today's match? Was it Gretna or Stirling Uni fortunate to escape with a draw? Was it an end to end contest with a draw a fair result or just two chances all game? dillinger
My roving reporter says we had a lot of chances first half but didn't take them.
Rocky85
Gretna started the brighter, misplaced pass gave Stirling forward a opportunity 25 yards out, wind gave keeper no chance. Gretna equaliser bout 5 mins later Anderson cut in side hit left footed, deflection gave keeper no chance Gretna had 2 shots from corners cleared off line, Rea header crashed off underside of bar (goal line technology would of been handy) 2nd half not much happened apart from Stirling keeper Marshall making 2 unbelievable saves from Milligan and Anderson. Stirling kept ball well and game fizzled out. Stirling happier I would think being away from home. Keeper earned them point but not sure Gretna did enough 2nd half to win Also Wright came on for injured Greenall just after HT
