CherryKitKat Posted October 17, 2014 Share Posted October 17, 2014 South of Scotland LEAGUE St Cuthbert Wanderers v Nithsdale Wanderers - Tough game for Saints after recent results but also a tough game for Nithsdale. Really no idea which way this one will go so i'll be a shitebag and say a 2-2 draw. HAIG GORDON CUP 2nd Round Dumfries YMCA v Fleet Star - A slight chance for the YM to get a victory here but they'll have to work very hard. Fleet are proving to be a decent outfit this season and if they turn up with a convincing performance then they'll be through to the next round. 3-6 Lochar Thistle v Crichton - A good local derby here with both teams probably still angry at last weeks disappointing 3-2 defeats. Could be a feisty affair and I would expect Lochar, especially at home, to go through to the next round. 3-1 Newton Stewart v Heston Rovers - Another good game could be had here in Newton Stewart. The home side still unbeaten this year and the away side capable of hitting form and creating a contest. Would expect Newton to progress but it may take extra time. 4-3 AET Wigtown v Edusport Academy - Depending on what Edu side appear will determine the type of game had here. A long journey for the French lads which won't help the legs at all. Wigtown love playing on their own turf and will be ready for any blue white and red challenge. 5-2 Don't think there's any other fixtures this week but if there is, someone give me a shout. Usual refs helping Wigtown along!! The ref sent off one player each during the game!! And also sent an Edu lad off post match for for saying "f**k off"!! Ref was probably swaying a little in their favour if anything but I'm not 100% sure!! Edu lads falling all the time!! A fair few dives by them!! Also a couple o wee scuffles!! Edu head coach told me post match that they were "utter shite" and "would have to be much better next weekend"!! As for edu should've scored 10!! They should've scored more than that!! Wullie White played a great game in goals for us and also edu did miss a lot of shots that they shouldn't have!!
