Yup they were at Bellsdale before our recent home game ( I think it was arthurlie in the league).

They were a cracking pair of guys who were there to promote their new book and hear old fashioned junior stories from our committee and fans.

They were loving the pre match drink so much and never hid the fact that this is what they love to do while ground hopping and that they don't stay to watch the games, instead they head to a few grounds of local proximity each Saturday and engage in stories with the locals and then they retire to the pubs.

They were good guys and their new book is close to completion and I think they've also got another good few books in circulation .

I had the pleasure of meeting these two on Saturday when I was in The Boundary Bar just before our match with the Bankies.

A couple of real characters. Im halfway through their first book and have already downloaded their 2nd and 3rd.

Funny guys. They are the kind of people you could sit and listen to for hours. John is originally from Govan and Craig is originally from Auchinleck but they both stay in East Kilbride now.

We had a visit recently from a chap by name of Mike Bayley, he is doing a book on the 100 grounds to visit around Britain as voted for online by the public. They range from top English Premier division down through the lower leagues, and some in Wales and Scotland also.

He did Duncansfield on the Saturday and was visiting Vale of leven on the Sunday before returning to his home in Essex. He plans to visit Fort William in the new year. I took him over to see Adamslie after our game on the Saturday although it will not feature in the book. He is planning to publish sometime next year. Watch this space.
