jagfox
We were pretty lucky a couple of times this evening. Mila's wayward effort after Poland hit the post springs to mind. Anyway we got a better result in Warsaw tonight than Germany did on Saturday so I'm pretty happy with what the national team has achieved so far. Elixir
What Ireland and Poland do is frankly irrelevant. Four points against them both and we'll qualify. It's that simple.

Elixir
No it isn't. It is, unless we blow it away to Georgia like in our Euro 2008 campaign.
Guest
It is, unless we blow it away to Georgia like in our Euro 2008 campaign. Scotland could conceivably take four from Ireland, four from Poland and 12 from Georgia/Gibraltar, but still not qualify if Poland beat Ireland twice. Nothing is guaranteed. ETA: In fact if Scotland get 20 points you'd think they'd be the 3rd best runner up, so forget this. I'm still not convinced Scotland will take 11 points from the remaining games against Poland, Ireland and Georgia like suggested.
Rednyella
They can't continue to be lucky and in the next few weeks things can change. We have to beat them at home pure and simple. biggest game at Hampden in a long time and I hope the nation gets right up for it and behind the team. I do think Scotland has a deeper squad than Ireland however I do think O'Neill like Strachan has them well drilled and tough to beat.
