exvale/rep
Vale of Leithen ( Lowland League ) are looking for players , anyone interested either contact the Club or pm me and I will pass on to the Club. thank-you
PumaKing
This is in no way meant to be disrespectful to Vale Of Leithen but for a team to be in the Lowland League (the 5th tier of Scottish Football) and have to advertise for players is surely a sign that the Lowland League is a glorified amateur league! I completely understand how difficult it is to attract players to a struggling club but the Lowland League is meant to feed into the Scottish Football League proper and to have a club in such a prestigious position having to advertise for trialists, is a concern. Should Vale maybe be out their depth and be more at home in the EOS?

HibeeJibee
This is the chap who kept asking when the Vale of Leithen AGM was going to be. Over half of his dozen-odd other posts are on that subject. He seems to have a couple of posts regarding Bonnyrigg and Preston's new manager, but all the rest are about off-field stuff at Vale, with some hardly complimentary. It might be legit. But there is nothing on Vale's website or Twitter. And given Mark Lamb has the top coaching certificate and has had as many clubs as hot dinners, it would surprise if they had actually taken to player recruitment via posts on a football forum by an "ex Vale rep" who will "pass it on". Wind-up/trolling/well-meaning fan?
jimmy grimble
Maybe they have taken to asking for players on here cause mark lamb is a tw*t and no one would want to play for him....plus edinburgh City just turned over the best junior side there is so if it's glorified amateurs then what are you lot

Here.We.Go
If Vale really need players, they should go look to EOS Prem & First Division. There will be players in the EOS Prem lower league teams who want a move and there are some cracking players in EOS first division across the board. Here.We.Go
And that's probably the biggest lot of nonsense I've ever read. The amateur standard, even in Prem 1 is pathetic this season. Some amateur teams pulled out a win in pre season friendlies but in the grand scheme of things, EOS teams would turn them over with full regular squads. I play second top division ams and having been in and around EOS football last season I'm more than confident we'd be in the top 3 of that first division. Must be Inverleith, Linlithgow, Tynie or South Gyle. So you're telling me 1 of these Prem 2 amateur teams would beat the likes of Ormiston, Peebles, Heriot Watt, Duns? That's a bold statement even for a Prem 1 amateur team... Never mind any of the above. And I assure you, none of those teams ^^^ would turn over half of the EOS First Div teams... Just don't think first division EOS is very strong! Played Easthouses and drew 3-3 with them a couple of weeks ago and although it was just a friendly they were nowhere near as good as I thought they'd be!
