Harry Beaver
Would I be correct in saying this will be the first cup final between Glenafton and Talbot since the 1992 Scottish cup final where Talbot humiliated an Alan Rough inspired Glenafton side 4-0 at Firhill. Also didn't Glenafton have Partick Thistle wonder kid Justin Crow in their side that day before he went on to sing with shite Scots pop group Del Amitri. The one
Apologies for taking the thread off on a tanjent. What times kick- off on Sunday? Does it matter? Your mobs not interested in wee cups like that anyway. Good to have you back by the way. And all the other Ford fans that were very quiet for a few weeks there. How much thought and effort went in to your reply? Surely you could channel your efforts in a more productive manner ya cock walloper. Talbot the team to beat for me, great attitude and work ethic, in fact a really good side that's the bench mark for the rest. Hope glens give a good account of themselves and its a good final. Note to all attending, little parking and one turnstile so leave in plenty of time.

And all the other Ford fans that were very quiet for a few weeks there. For me there are NO wee cups. Irrespective of the competition or the opponents I want my team to win in every one of them.I know not everyone at their respective clubs (ours included) may see it that way but for me it is. I remember when it was just Hurlford Utd v Darvel in the old Kilmarnock and Loudoun cup final and I thoroughly looked forward to that at the beginning of each season. Even though we won more than we lost nothing was taken for granted as the winners usually met the winners of the Cumnock & Doon valley cup (and lost lol). Our priority this week is our away day to Petershill and 3 points. Then we can look to our cup match at Muirkirk. And nothing will be taken for granted in either match!! Back to what this thread is about. I'm hoping for a Talbot win if only for the fact that if they don't the Pathead bakers might be closed in New Cumnock on Monday !! (Heaven forbid) Lol

Lol and how much thought into your's?I spent around 5 to 10 minutes looking for songs that most folk would have a laugh at (although I'm thinking not you!). So you don't like me? Ah we'll it's a burden I'll have to bear! Be more productive? And look up what exactly a "Fanny Spangle" is? "Talbot the team to beat" for you? No shit Sherlock as Talbot's the team you're playing! I've got to hand it to you though as from this point your post actually was constructive and informant. We'll done lol So wind yer neck in and enjoy your day in Troon! Hope your sandcastle wins lol
