What do you reckon will happen then, and what would you like to happen?

I'll be honest, how much I can get behind Scotland is pretty much pinned on this.

I don't know - I honestly don't know how anybody can sign Flower of Scotland with any real sincerity when 55% of the population voted for God Save the Queen or Jerusalem or some fucking thing.

Does the whole thing make you give less of a shit about the team?

I was starting to get into it all again, now I'm not sure how I feel. I'm stuck between two Colin Calderwood's right now.

I suppose I don't think I know how I feel about it until the time comes - at the moment, I'm in the 'meh - who cares' camp.

Silence would be the best option - the prospect of thousands of breast-beating bravehearts roaring out FOS in the aftermath of the referendum seems genuinely ludicrous to me.

It's a pish song and it would be nice if all yes supporters simply turned their back and remained silent whilst it was being played. Replacing it with Scotland the Brave is kind of out the window now too seeing as voting against your so-called nation's political independence is the complete opposite of bravery.

I've come round to thinking total silence would be utterly quality.

Imagine the awkwardness from the 10% or so no voters in the ground (people who support Scotland but voted no do exist, unbelievably) who go along for a day of being a JockLad bantah merchant, only for the anthem to kick in and the ground to go fucking silent. Sounds hilarious.

That would be quality - I've been thinking recently about that film The Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, where folk are wandering about not knowing who's been assimilated and who hasn't!

Got to ask, had it been a yes vote, 51%-49%, would that make FOS completely okay - even though 49% wanted Scotland to continue to have its arse wiped by Westminster?

I have to say that, even as a Yes voter, I wouldn't have felt completely comfortable with 49% not being happy about independence.

The Tartan Army firing right into FOS after a win for Yes could have been quite a special moment, though. There you go.
