Starts 7th October Stateside, absolutely no idea when it is starting overhere, but given the obvious tie-in with Arrow and it's eventual link-up to the forthcoming Superman/Batman movie and therefore to the eventual J.L.A. movie it's importance can probably not be stressed enough!!! SimplyTON Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 1st episode was on last night - good start Just expanded on what we had learned about Barry in Arrow and trailer. Filling in his back story while introducing the supporting cast Lead seems likeable which helps and if it can find the right balance between weekly stories and arc's like Arrow then they will be onto a winner aired Tuesday in the States. King Kebab Posted October 9, 2014 Author Share Posted October 9, 2014 Enjoyed it as well, also good explanation as to the generation of "SuperPowers", The Flash does have one of the largest "Rogue's Galleries" on the go, hopefully this explanation means we're going to see quite a few of them!!! Not as Dark as Gotham or Arrow, but it shouldn't be, The Flash is an altogether different and more colourful character, it was dark enough to be realistic but light enough to be The Flash!!! Also nice couple of Easter Eggs thrown in as well!!! Barry's Dad is played by John Wesley Shipp, who played The Flash in the 90's version and also the guy at STAR Labs wearing a "BAZINGA" t-shirt when presenting Barry with his new suit!!! Arrow is well worth watching too although the first half of S1 is probably the worst of it so some folks give up before it gets properly good.
