Not sure of his coaching pedigree but could appoint a decent assistant if he needs one to do the coaching. He would have contacts and be able to attract some players to improve the quality of the squad and that's what gets success in Scottish fitba. It annoys me when the same guys fail at sfl level over and over again an no one from non league gets a shot ( Jim Duffy, John coughlin etc) but thy are able to convince chairmen that they can get this player and that player and they get the job. He did look the part yesterday and had Preston organised and playing really well. They were unlucky not to get anything from the game. If the big striker hadn't have done a Peter Van Vossen early on in the first half, we would have had a coupon buster of a result.
