Rovers1992/1993
Not sure what to think of this. This is probably the best time to play Falkirk, especially at home. They seem to have had a shaky start to the season. In saying that, I'd expect them to come good eventually, hopefully they wait a week before that happens though. Falkirk fans, is it just a bit of bad luck you've had or have you generally been playing a lot worse than last season? I read on an article on .net that we've went almost a year without keeping a clean sheet at home - this game, Queens at home and Alloa at home, fail to keep a cleansheet in any of those 3, it'll be over a year, that's another horrible statistic to have. Hopefully we can break that rout here. Laidlaw Thomson Watson Ellis Mckeown Conroy Fox Moon McKay Stewart Elliot* Bench of; Mcgurn, Perry*, Anderson, Callachan, Scott, Vaughan and Nade* * = If fit I'll go with a 2-1 win with Conroy and Moon getting the goals. Anthony Fitzgerald
In the battle of picking up rejects from other Scottish clubs, home banker. We have a dreadful record at Starks too.
Paco
Wonder if Falkirk will be in the Railway Stand. Only seats 500 but probably would've been enough over the last few visits? I'd expect they'll be in the North Stand as usual but you never know. After such a good result on Saturday it'd be nice to follow it up with something at home, our record at Stark's has been woeful of late. Can only imagine we'll go unchanged if there's no injuries? Bit bemused as to why Anderson seems to be out of the picture but Scott has earned another start. At least with Anderson, McKay, Vaughan and Stewart sitting on the bench we have genuine options to change things. Laurie Ellis has also earnt a start regardless of whether Ross Perry is fit or not. Bizarre but that's the way of it.

Rovers1992/1993
What do raith rovers fans on here make of ross callachan? 21 year old CM, he can also play on the wing. He's a decent player to have in the squad, he doesn't normally start games, but when he comes off the bench for the last 10-15 mins, his work rate is brilliant. He has a bit of pace about him, he has a decent shot about him as well. He hasn't scored a goal for us yet, yet everyone thinks he deserves a few. The amount of shots from about 25 yards, that he's attempted, that have rocketed off the post in the last year, is unreal, must be in double figures, most unluckiest player there is. How come? He being rumoured to be going on loan? Makes sense as I think Saturday was the first we've seen of him this season.
Gaz FFC
Having drew with QOS and Dumbarton at home and assuming we lose Tuesday to some tribute act, I can see Housty feeling plenty heat from the Falkirk fans already. Lose to Raith and the shouts may just be for him GTF
ADMO
I'm glad to have ate my words on Saturday, after seeing our Line-up Vs Livi I was baffled at how we could get anything from that game ... Somehow we did, so credit to Murray, a good result at a tricky ground ! Onto this one, it is one I want to get confident about, but I'm just unsure if any Raith fan should ever feel confidence haha ! Falkirk looking poor, and minus the "bigger clubs", we seem to have done pretty good so far ... Probably a score draw for me, or a 4-0 humping as we seem to enjoy Win / Lose 4-0 / Win / Lose 4-0 / Win .... Hahahaha

I'd expect they'll be in the North Stand as usual but you never know.I would love to be in the railway stand, tho surely would give us what some may see as an advantage with fans being closer....or in some cases disadvantage....I watched the recent Rangers game v Raith and although rangers played well, I Thot Raith were their own worst enemy giving the ball away to easily for at least 2 of the goals and looked limp up top. Our problem this season gelling 5,6 players in, concentrating for 90mins and we were dealt a hefty start having what was deemed as top 3 in successive weeks. We showed flashes of decent play on Saturday, but crashed last 15 mins. We even looked dangerous with corners in the first half, something we haven't been for years but a poor last 15mins cost us 3pts I've said pre Saturdays game, I was hoping the midweek Rangers game can kickstart us, a big profile game can make some players raise their game and hopefully we at least have a decent performance like last game but with a different result....so on that basis, I will hold prediction till Wednesday

I see, watched him at Easter road in the scottish last season and thought he played well, also hit the post that day! Nope heard nothing like that...just know him as he went to the school I worked at and was wondering what fans thought about him as he doesn't seem to be getting a lot of time! He's a decent enough player, and what Rovers92/93 said is all true enough, I think though that he doesn't fit into the system we play, his best games last year were either out wide or in a free role in a 3 man midfield, at the moment we play a two man central midfield and he hasn't yet developed the positional nuous to play there succesfully. Can run around all day but sometimes is utterly out of position, leading to the opposition breaking right through the middle.

Broken Algorithms
On Callachan, I rate the lad very highly. He's developed massively as a player in the last year and flies about the pitch putting in the work. As Renton touched on, it can be difficult for him to fit into the system. Even still, he's had some solid contributions when he's come on. Aside from Hibs away last season which was a brilliant performance, he set up John Baird when we played Queens at home with a great driving run and cutback in the box. If he can develop himself as that sort of player, who can take players on and move the ball forward, he'll be a real asset. Overall, I'd say he'd be most likely of our former youth players to go on and make a solid career at this level.

Entirely true. We were terrible and threw away two, arguably three goals with Rangers doing little except finishing well. I'd love to say don't judge us on that performance but we did the same thing against Hearts too. And Dundee in the cup. So you never know, really. Low scoring draw or 1-0 to Raith. Would agree with this, except perhaps Falkirk may edge it too - we haven't kept a clean sheet at Stark's Park since October 2013, some seventeen competitive matches ago (twenty if you include friendlies where a clean sheet was beyond us too). It's almost inevitable we'll concede. Has David Smith played for Falkirk yet? Interested to see how he gets on. Apparently we were in for him but Falkirk were offering almost double the wages. Should be a good winger at this level, if he's over his ball-greediness.
