Jambomo
Just been to cast my vote. I must admit to having a moment of gazing at the lovely X in the yes box The polling station was quite busy already - good signs I hope

Enigma
Just back now. Iain Gray's pus greeted me on the door but no cheesy grin. X in the yes box and the polling station certainly busier than I've ever seen it.
Waal
First through the door at my polling station. Yes up 1-0 when I left.

He actually tried to be first minister. Fucking hell.
Jambomo
This was the first time in 20 years my OH has voted, he wasn't even on the electoral register till about May. He's had no interest in politics at all but he's voting yes and is so excited about it he was dragging me out to the polling station at about 6.45am. We just live across the bloody road! :D

Musketeer Gripweed
Polling Station across the road from my house had a queue of around a dozen waiting to get in just before seven this morning. Never seen anything like that before.
FuzzyBear
I was in at 7.10 and the girl said there had been about 50 in already. Yes had someone to greet us at the door but thankfully no one from no. Bizarre but the X did look superb.
South Lanarkshire Jag
There were more police officers at my polling station than Better Together people. The 2 Yes campaigner's outnumbered them all. It felt really good seeing the cross in the "Yes" box, but I had a slight panic attack seconds after dropping it in the box that I'd crossed "No". It was quite busy when I left, so I must have beaten the queue!
Richie
Haha, I had a quick double take at my ballot paper as well. The die is cast.
Adam
Yeah, I also did a double take to make sure I hadn't somehow misread the question! What a feeling putting a the X in the box! Spoke to a women outside who was yet to register, and had been given a phone number to get an emergency vote before 5pm. Was delighted to hear that this is possible, and even more chuffed when she said she was voting yes!

Sooky
Am I right in hearing there is no exit poll tonight? That'll help make it an even longer night!

Granny Danger
Am I right in hearing there is no exit poll tonight? That'll help make it an even longer night! Don't think that's the case. I'm sure there will be exit polls but, as usual, they will not be announced until the close of voting. I'm sure one of the voting organisations is asking a 'panel' to call them once they've actually been to cast their vote so to check actual against proposed intentions. Have you come over to the good guys Sooky?
