Mr Bairn
bbc.co.uk/weather Looks like light rain is expected in Dundee. Bad news for Yes. Cloudy in Edinburgh as well, but Glasgow is expected to have a nice day which could certainly help drive the turnout for Yes. Looks like Dundee is the only area expecting rain though, so that could hurt Yes.

DA Baracus
Are yoy actually suggesting that some people won't bother voting in the most important vote they'll ever be involved in because of a bit of rain?! If anyone doesn't vote because of the weather then they don't deserve to have a vote and should be barred from voting in anything ever again. Rightly or wrongly turnout is believed to be affected by rain, particularly in poorer areas. That's why you always hear about Tories doing rain dances. Casual Bystander
Voting No is just like the Shawshank Redemption, except more tunnelling through shit and no redemption at the end of it.

See these outdoor concert polling stations, they will never catch on in Scotland.

Jamaldo
It's very foggy up here the now. Don't know how it is in the south of the islands though. Probably shouldn't be problems getting the Uist and Barra votes up here but we'll see.
