A poster on here posted his first status on Facebook "in about 4 years" (source: Twitter) but is a regular Twitter user. However some people post a lot more regularly on Facebook than on Twitter, which is deemed somewhat inappropriate. Some people have one or the other: or neither. Spain Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 On Facebook I'll post a few bits and pieces now and then, normally just sharing photos after a wedding or such, but generally don't use it for much other than the messenger part of it. I have two twitter accounts though, which muddies the water a little. Occasionally I'll go on a rant with my own one and tweet a couple of dozen in one night (live referendum debates, world cup final, etc.), then I'll tweet nothing again for weeks, maybe even months. The other twitter account is the one I run for the County forum, so generally only tweet from it if we have problems with the site, or if people tweet me. Unless of course we're instigating or promoting an event. For #PartickAwayHawaiianDay I was tweeting pretty regularly all day, every day for a couple of weeks. Go through spells of not using it for ages and spells of using it alot aswell. Refresh everything on my phone every 10 minutes or something though which I find quite irritating when I think of it spend way too much time on my phone. I used to post on it a lot a few times a day but it was all mundane things that no-one cares about, and now I can't stand people who need to share every aspect of their shitty life. Now I post far less often, maybe once/twice a month. I post more regularly on Twitter, but I've calmed down a bit recently again. Now I talk my nonsense on Twitter almost daily and only post on Facebook once or twice a month. I use Facebook pretty much every day for private messaging though, especially when I'm offshore. I dont post on facebook very often, usually when I upload a mix or some funny video or that.
