Ya Bezzer!
What's the deal with this guy? Not been seen in a Scotland shirt for 2 years despite being hailed at the time as the next big thing. He seems to be playing regular so has he withdrawn from playing with Scotland? Is Strachan not interested in him? Has his form gone down hill? Should he being picked? Does he have a long term Scotland future? Or is he going to be a 2 cap wonder? Genuinely interested.
Quentin Taranbino
He is only just back from a long term injury. If he keeps regular place for QPR and performs well then he will be back in squad. Same applies to Liam Bridcutt
Frankie S
Strachan is doing a good job, but he definitely seems to have his favourites. Not sure why Bardsley has dropped off the radar. Tom Cairney, Blackburn's player of the year last season is definitely worth a look, but missed out on selection once again. Maybe he could have called them up now that Roberston and Dorrans have dropped out of the squad? Might have made them feel part of things, even if they were unlikely to get a game. Having said that, Strachan's omissions are nowhere near as head-scratching as Billy Stark's.

Scott Arfield is much better than Tom Cairney we should bring back B games for the later to see what he can do looks a decent young midfielder to Can see Bardsley coming in if Robertson is out and maybe Forsyth getting his first start for us but we have a lot of guys that can play full back around

RobbieD
Seen him 3 times this season. He's not up to form yet but probably won't be far off. Can see him making the November squads if he is still injury free.

Phillips has done next to nothing for Scotland but is inexperienced got good pace about him though will need the caps to adjust to international game Would have no problem with him in the squad if he was on form at QPR up against the worlds elite each week Anya showed us we need pace at this level suppose you need the final ball to though as well Think Forest and Mackay Steven are better players though and offer more and are playing in Scotland And that is pure madness they should be playing at that level to with Phillips IMHO

Dryhorce
He's got 2 caps FFS Yes two caps he was awful against USA headless chicken stuff but they were all terrible that night Again I am open to him having some part to play along the lines.even if its of the bench hurting a tiered team with his pace We could do a lot worse willing to see him have his chance if he is starting games at his club

Really Forest according to the coaches is one of our best and GMS was at Liverpool.has Phillips been at any massive clubs? Go watch the two of them they have pace and power and a end product plus they can take there chances when they come Just young guys there going to be the future for Scotland for the next ten years and will move to better leagues soon When they get there they will storm it especially with the skill that GMS has and fast feet and trickery

He didn't make the grade at Liverpool so it's irrelevant where he played as a youngster. Fwiw Phillips started out at Wycombe then transferred to Blackpool. GMS was injured at Liverpool that is why he never made it actually read up on the player And Forest stayed to play champions league nothing wrong with that ambition Plenty of worse players than them two starting in the EPL.and the guy this threads about is one Oh and one of them are big clubs even United has a better reputation around the world even now

But they didn't. So if there are plenty of worse players playing in the EPL why haven't these clubs sought out the services of either Forrest or GMS to replace them? Apart from a game against the USA have you actually seen Phillips play? Also, as an addition to the 'worse players playing in the EPL' chat, what players that are eligible for Scotland (apart from Phillips) play in the same positions as those 2 and play in the EPL? Dryhorce
The mighty Bolton. Still would have been EPL football for them.anyway nothing wrong staying in Scotland another year GMS had the chance of champions league football in Bulgaria this year to And had a few championship teams in for him to Must be happy to see the rest of his contract out at United Good player could easily play abroad he has the ability
The Ginger Prince
Bolton offered contracts to Forest and Wylde when they were EPL. Half way defeating your argument. You said there are players currently playing in the EPL. Yet you say Bolton 'offered contracts' to Forrest and Wylde (who is now playing in the SPFL and wasn't even part of the initial discussion FFS ) and they got relegated 2 years ago. To be offered a contract, Celtic would've needed to accept a bid from Bolton which they never have so that's shite. I love how you've conveniently ignored the rest of my post as well because you have no answers to the ludicrous claims you make.
