Harry Beaver Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 Good. How many time has celtic been fined by uefa over the past few years must be about 8/9 times now, maybe time for a wee ban for a season or two. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Swarley Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 This photo is from the World Cup. So who cops the fine? Croatia? Cameroon? Brazil? FIFA? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted September 2, 2014 Author Share Posted September 2, 2014 Good. Why is it good? Last time I checked Palestine is recognised by FIFA and more importantly the UN as a state Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Paris Hilltoon Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 I'm not concerned about Celtic, as they have a long history of political protests at games. Saints on the other hand, do not. Being fined £18,000 for one idiot waving a flag, with no message is an utterly ridiculous decision. It's high time UEFA are challenged on shite like this. I'd be more than happy for us to be the ones to start the movement. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
thisal Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 Even Glasgow city councils traffic department could learn from UEFAs spurious fines department. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 Real Sociedad fans had quite a few at Pittodrie. The players even had it on their shirts.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I'm struggling to understand how a guy with a flag is an 'idiot' here? It's not like it had 'f**k UEFA' written on it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rugster Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 They fined Villareal €12,000 for a fan throwing a banana at Dani Alves. Nice to see they've got their priorities right. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
welshbairn Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 I intend to invest in a Dunfermline bunnet and a Palestinian flag with F*CK UEFA printed on it, and attend every home game I can. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Newbornbairn Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 I intend to invest in a Dunfermline bunnet and a Palestinian flag with F*CK UEFA printed on it, and attend every home game I can. Slight flaw in that it's only European games. Europe will have ceased to exist before Dunfermline qualify again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The OP Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 It's ironic that a few of our supporters have flown Palestine flags for years, but it's only now that we are fined because the Palestinian people's plight is more relevant than ever. williemillersmoustache Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 I'd be in favour of this if UEFA fine Celtic €18k per Tricolour too, finally pushing the other arse cheek into financial oblivion. Pleasing. Otherwise it's pish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
