Blaven
Is it ok to shout at the general public, then cry when they shout back? From BT and JM. http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=bDi1OXJn4Vw
Casual Bystander
This is called screwing the pooch. Murphy is going to make the most out of this like the timorous sleekit wee shite the man is. He knows he's lost the argument and so he needs to try and cry foul.
scothmist
Big difference between shouting, just like haggis face and throwing. objects. Next it will be bricks. Did you see the TV pics of the bully walking away? Must have received advice from Santino Sonny Corleone. Separatist true feeling coming to the fore. Despicable

Liam.
See the end of the video where someone breaks up a confrontation between the Yes guy and Murphys photographer? The guy's a yes voter and they've deliberately cut the footage where they have so as not to show his Yes badges. They've literally used a piece of footage showing the Yes camp policing itself to attack the Yes camp for not policing itself.
ForzaDundee
The guy comes across like a monumental p***k. Why did he think that people in places like Dundee would allow him to stand on a box and shout lies unchallenged in the city centre. He's typical of the Labour elite who think they should have a natural monopoly on power. Sure he's also one of the Scottish MPs with the highest expenses. Absolute dobber of a man. Yeah, people like Murphy must be shitting themselves at the possibility of a YES vote. Not because of the implications for the country but because of the impact on their tawdry little political careers.
Blaven
Hear he was to visit his own constituency in the next few days. Wouldn't want to turn up there and get a bad reception like he's been getting elsewhere. How would that look on Reporting Scotland?
Casual Bystander
Don't tell the BBC that. Their lapping it up. No, well of course they are loving the opportunity to get some good pro-union propaganda. Thing is, there are numerous YouTube videos of ol' Jimbo on his soap box which show entirely amicable exchanges between him and his audience. One might say he is over egging the pudding, but then he certainly has enough eggs to do this now. He is playing to victim card and I fully expect charges racism to come soon as that would fully fit in with the mantra of Bitter; "if you can't win, cheat, and even if you are winning, just cheat anyway"
dirk
there's a lot of disillusioned labour voters shouting him down, i don't know how he thought going into labour heartlands and defending tory policies was going to work for him, no matter the outcome of he vote i think the labour party is fcuked in scotland. Casual Bystander
I posted this in another thread, but considering his warm up man kicked off the Dundee soap box number with the following... What are we going to have on Sept 19th if Scotland decides to separate? What would be in your pocket? The Groat! There are going to be shops along there that'll have to change their name to Groatstretcher and Groatland. The clocks will stop and there will be no longer British Summer Time and GMT, the clocks will stop at 13:14 if the SNP get their way. Is it any surprise he is being heckled? Yeah as I've said on another post, when in Kilmarnock, it was old women and passers by that stopped to heckle him. Mostly folk are just ignoring him. Not because of the implications for the country but because of the impact on their tawdry little political careers. People like Murphy? Would you include Darling in that who I seem to recollect Salmond offering a position to in an independent Scottish Government? Personally I'd rather see Murphy in a Scottish Cabinet than Darling, darling. Eta Salmond offering a position to Darling was wrong, of course, but he did say in that BBC televised debate he would be happy to see Darling serve in a future Independent Scotland. He may get elected on the PR list, but he has clearly shat the bed and will be struggling to gain support even in his own "safe seat" that is of course if the incumbent is willing to step down and allow Jimbo to run. Is it any surprise he is being heckled? Ha. Murphy himself said in Kilmarnock that " it's WAR that keeps the Clyde ship workers in a job ". This was a follow up to a heckle about Iraq. Weird thing about it was, those who where standing being shouted at, all started clapping the very second Murphy stopped talking. It was like a flash mob clap then disperse. He's got a majority over over 10'000 and had 25'000 people vote for him. There hasn't been such a huge swing towards a Yes vote in Scotland over the past 4 years to say that all his support is going to disappear. There's been a marginal shift towards Yes, at best. As much as you'd probably like them to, millions of people who don't agree with your politics won't disappear over night even if there is a Yes vote. pandarilla
As a Yes voter I am pretty embarrassed by the antics of some of the 'protesters'. As much as I have no time for Murphy I will always defend his right to put his opinion across. Teams of protesters who rock up with the sole intention to disrupt his wee stint are not doing the Yes campaign any favours. The egg throwing is fucking infantile. The repeated shouting is not much better. By al means turn up with Yes t-shirts and engage him but there's a way to do it without acting like a tit. Casual Bystander
I am talking Scottish Parliament, as after 18th of September Murphy will effectively be handed his notice. Plus, you are viewing things from a distance. You don't live here and if you did you'd see there is a large backlash coming "Scottish" (aye, right) Labour's way.
