Ranaldo Bairn
The badge looks like a lion rampant. Is it old Rangers?
gladuwun
Aye its the lion rampant on the left breast. Plenty of early rangers photos exist but i dont recognise anybody, was thinking more like a Scottish select? Its a very early image possibly c1870/80s? Have looked at a photo on the Gallant Pioneers website and the lad sitting bottom left looks very similar to Moses McNeil, anybody else see the resemblance? Also Vallance has the Lion Rampant, Anyone why the others have a star?

atfccfc
Just looking through Historic kits website. and that kit with the badge looks similar to St Johnstones kit from 1885. i had a look through most of those teams and this one looks the closest match. Also these are the Scotland kits of this time period. a few look quite close. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/international/scotland/scotland-1872-1939.html
