Is being earmarked for a return.

Loved this at the time, but have a feeling it was very much of it's time. Imagine there would be all sorts of complaints about stuff like Freak or Unique and Fat Lookalikes now.

Oh, and the music tended to be excellent as well.

Evans has changed his tune, a few weeks ago he said he would not do TFI Friday again as it was so exhausting and time consuming, but I suppose money does talk

Sean Ryder a cert to be guest for first live show

One of the funniest things ive ever seen on telly THAT episode back in the day :D

I'm sure he was banned from Channel 4 after that.

Didn't TFI Friday tried to make a comeback a few years ago on a Sunday, I might be imagining that though.

I loved, loved, loved TFI Friday. Fat Lookalikes and Freak or Unique being my favourite. I was probably still a bit young to appreciate it even more, it must have been phenomenal for anyone in their late teens / early twenties when it was in its heyday.

I was that age group then, my friday routine was based around it.

Id finish work early, have a game of 5-a-sides, get home for a bite to eat whilst watching this with a few cans before splashing on the old High Karate and slipping into my white jeans (seriously yes.....cringe) & hitting the town

Memories :D

Loved TFI when I was younger but as has been said, I think it was a product of it's time. It was a time when people wouldn't get up in arms about the smallest thing. No way would you have a show now with the crowd standing around having a drink on early evening tv.

f**k, I'm beginning to sound like an old man.

Does anybody remember seeing the awards ceremony where Matt Bianco were getting an award from Jennifer Rush and it ended up in a fight with the guitarist from Fine young Cannibals? He got booted in the balls whilst Jennifer was trying to keep them all apart.

bonus beastly footage of Noel at the end.

I remember them having Slipknot on as musical guest before anyone knew who they were. First time on TV in this country if I remember right!

Also just remembered another musical guest being Napalm Death. All live at 6pm on national telly!
